Hello my name is Yennifer and this is my AP Language eportfolio, where I will update my work throughout my English class. My favorite thing about English is that we read multiple texts and this improves reading skills and I learn new vocabulary.
AP language is "reading and analyze a range of nonfiction and fiction" AP Language and composition syllabus by Ms.Adhearn, texts that include nonfiction to improve the use of rhetoric and how it works. AP Language is a college level class and create three essays. We will focus on writing three essay that is argumentative, synthesis and analytical. The themes will be ethnics, identity race and culture and the American Dream. We will also so Socratic seminar which is discussing with our peers over texts to help better understand the meaning or answer questions that we may have.
